Hello and Welcome!
My name is Aiman Akhtar and I'm a 3D modeler who specializes in stylized character development for animation and 3D print.
After 6 years of working at various commercial studios in Chicago for top brands including Harley-Davidson, McDonald's and Hotels.com, I left to pursue a career in entertainment design in Los Angeles and have since worked for companies such as Alliance Studios, Method, Nickelodeon and Stoopid Buddy Studios.
I'm also the founder of my own character development/3D printing company, 3D Smiths LLC, as well as resident 3D print expert at 3D World Magazine where I write editorial stories and tutorials on my projects and the 3D printing industry. In 2015 I've tackled 3d printing for collectible toys, products, jewelry, wearables, and even a fully 3D printed costume.
I primarily use Maya, Modo, Zbrush, Photoshop and After Effects, and have experience with Cinema 4D, Vray, Nuke, Substance Painter and Mental Ray.
Always on the lookout for interesting opportunities and challenging freelance projects. So, check out my work, and if you like what you see, shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks for stopping by!
